Tristen's Wedding

We got to spend New Year's in Saint George to see Tristen get married on the 3rd. It was a very special day and it was so neat to see my little sister all grown up an making good choices and marrying such a great guy in the temple.  The ceremony was great and Jeff's Grandpa (also Dan's Grandpa) married them.  Another coll thing was that it snowed the night before and several inches were still sticking in the morning - very rare for Saint Geroge.  Here's the happy couple coming out of the temple.
Doesn't Tristen make a beautiful bride?
Here are some family pictures

After the wedding, we all met for a luncheon at a nearby hotel that everyone was staying at.  Jeff and I snuck away during the speeches to decorate the door to Tristen and Dan's room.
Then that night we had a really nice reception.  Skye made all the food (the crepes were really good) including the wedding cake.  He's awesome!!!

Dan's sister, Amanda, and I were Tristen's bridesmaids.  Here we are looking awesome in our dresses.
It was fun to see everyone all dressed up for the occasion.

At the end of the night, Tristen and Dan headed off in their decorated car for a honeymoon in Vegas and Disneyland.  Jeff, Waisha, and I (along with Lily and Claire) headed back to Provo.  We didn't get home until 1:30am.  Poor Jeff had school the next day, but it was worth it!

  1. Glad it went so well! I didn't know your brother was a cook. The cake looks fabulous!

  2. So fun! Everyone and everything looks great! I love your dress (and Amanda's)! And Tristen looked beautiful too, of course. It just dawned on me that Jeff and Dan are now cousins AND brothers-in-law. Weird. I'm so happy for all of you! P.S. Have you guys decided on a job yet?
