Lily said our family prayer tonight. It was so funny sweet. She was thankful for her teddy bear, for the stars, and for our eyebrows. Eyebrows are pretty great, I guess.
I read the funniest book called 'Angus, Thongs, and Full-frontal Snogging' a few years ago that talks about eyebrows. It is hilarious and there is a whole series, but I've only read the first book because I didn't feel it was completely appropriate. That being said, I still laugh to this day about a part in the book about eyebrows. The main girl is about 13 and is plucking her eyebrows for the first time. She can't get them evenly plucked though and keeps going from one eyebrow to the other trying to even them out. It finally gets to the point where she doesn't have much hair left to pluck and so she just decides to shave them off because then they'll both look the same! She's looking out at the moon later that night and thinks to herself, "I wonder how many people are looking at the moon at this exact moment." Then she thinks, "I wonder how many people are looking at the moon right now that don't have eyebrows..." It's probably funnier when you read it in the book, but I agree with Lily that eyebrows are pretty important, and I wouldn't want to be without them! :o)
